Whole Foods Market Inc., which has more than 430 locations, says it still sees potential to expand to 1,200 locations in the U.S. But Jeff Turnas, president of 365 at Whole Foods, said in an interview this week that there are no plans for tattoo parlors to date, and that he doubts that there will be. Two more locations are slated for Lake Oswego, Oregon and Bellevue, Washington this year, and 10 additional stores are slated for 2017.

Walmart will drop Wild Oats brand, restock with own organic staples

Burkle's Los Angeles-based Yucaipa bought the brand around 2012, licensing it to Walmart. Walmart is adding more organic fresh produce and small organic brands to shelves, say executives. But the brand didn't grow as quickly as some at Walmart hoped, in part because the products weren't in every store and weren't called out on Walmart's shelves at the time, say these people. In recent months Walmart executives have said they are making a renewed push to increase organic food sales.

Will we even be carrying cash by the time we get these new bills?

Warmer than usual oceanic temperatures are literally sucking the life out of the Great Barrier Reef. But Whole Foods released video of Brown checking out, which the company says shows the UPC label in a different position. Warm temperatures have forced stressed coral to expel algae that create the eye-popping coral reef colors you’re used to seeing. Harriet Tubman, former slave and abolitionist, will grace the front of America's $20 bill.

Whole Foods: Cake with alleged gay slur is fake

"And I think the message with filing a countersuit that quick suggests that Whole Foods is vigorously intending to fight this and that they really believe this suit is without merit and baseless."Whole Foods calls the accusations fraudulent and released video of Brown checking out that they say proves it. According to the company, when the cashier scans the UPC on the box the label is on the top of the box. That counters a video released by Brown's attorney.

Retail partners for those stores haven't been announced yet.Follow Hadley Malcolm on [email protected]
